Our Brand + Clean Values

We're a slow fashion indie brand.

We make in small quantities or make to order.

And we're committed to building safe for you, environmentally friendly, sun protective products that are attractive, comfortable and useful.

Hi, I'm Sharone, your designer.
My commitment to you, my children and the world is to do my best to leave the world in a better place. Comfort and aesthetics is so important to me, and delivering products that will keep you and your skin healthy while doing good for the planet is my goal.
What's in it for you?
Clean clothing that’s safe for your body.
Everything from the heat transfer tags, logos, thread and fabric is independently certified to be free of harmful chemicals and heavy metals including substances not yet regulated, and is rated safe for prolonged contact on skin.
For all of us, and especially the immuno-compromised, this is important for your long term health because we want to help keep your skin healthy and reduce exposure to chemicals.

Here's more info including the OEKO-TEX Standard 100 list of chemicals and heavy metals.

How this helps you and the environment.
Our OEKO-TEX certified partners utilize sustainable manufacturing practices to offset the global impact fashion has contributed to waste and pollution (especially our waterways).
My partners set goals to reduce carbon, water and energy footprints by using renewable resources such as recycled water and solar energy with no dumping of chemicals into the waterways.

I'm going to link to a reference chart of the PEF label(s) for the fabrics I use to make this product (Product Environmental Footprint) at the bottom of this page.

Attractive, comfortable, useful designs that are beneficial to your health as well as the environment.
Functionally, our permanently sun protective clothing blocks more than 98% of UVA and UVB rays from reaching your skin.
When I’m designing I think about friends with skin sensitivities and folks who may be immuno-compromised recovering from chemo, radiation treatments or biopsies, and people using vanity as a motivation to stay healthy (100% ok).
I want to create designs that are aesthetically interesting and useful.
I believe it's got to feel comfortable.
Whenever possible I try to incorporate unsewn edges into my designs.
These "raw edges" feel 'naked' against the skin - an important comfort feature for people with skin sensitivities.
Raw edges have the added benefit of invisibility, too. They won't create lines when tucking into clothes or around your arms (our UV Sun Gauntlets - arm sleeves).

Aesthetics do matter, because you’ve got to feel confident wearing your UPF clothing that’s oh so good for you. And our planet.

We're trying to contribute our small part to keep chemicals out of the global supply chain, reduce the carbon footprint and make interesting designs that are safe for you and your skin's health.
Thanks for reading!
