Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX

HELIADES' UV Sun Gauntlets Collection, UV Neck Wraps, Three-Pleated UV Face Masks and UPF Hoodies are made of OEKO-TEX certified fabric. Additionally, all our heat transfer trims, logos and thread are OEKO-TEX certified.

The certification means these designs are free of harmful chemicals and heavy metals and rated safe for direct, prolonged skin contact. We're in the same classification as underwear, t-shirts, socks, and bedding.

To become certified, materials are independently tested for several hundred harmful chemicals and heavy metals such as banned substances like azo colorants, formaldehyde, pentachlorophenol, cadmium, nickel as well as many chemicals that are not yet legally regulated. Environmentally relevant substances are also included.

It's an international standard that is above and beyond government agencies worldwide.
