This short video is about UV sun protective fabric - did you know that not all fabric is made the same? The process to create textiles and the end product, apparel, unfortunately requires chemicals. Chemicals are used to process all - from natural or organic fibers into useable yarns to weave, and chemicals are used to create synthetic fibers.

As it turns out, some fabrics are cleaner than others.  And the differentiation is in a few areas:

Some textiles are third party certified free of more than 360 chemicals including formaldehyde, phthalates and other endocrine disruptors, and rated safe for prolonged skin contact.
If we chose to work with a fabric that is pre-certified, then we'll have a selection of products that are better for you,
And we keep these chemicals out of the supply chain which helps our environment.

We selected pre-certified fabrics that are as described above to make our UV Sun Gauntlets, a collection of sun protective arm sleeves and hand gloves in fun, bright colors to suit different moods which are perfect for every day and awesome as sun driving gloves. 

We took it a step further and work with textile factories that use renewable energy sources like solar, and utilize recycled water throughout the process, and have additional certifications such as Bluesign.
