Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and chosen shipping method. We offer free standard U.S. shipping on orders over $150.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a tracking link. You can also create and check your order status in your Heliades account.

Eligible merchandise may be returned within 30 days of the purchase date. Items must be unworn, unused, with tags, and in their original packaging. Read full return policy here

Sale merchandise may be returned within 14 days of the order date at the customer's expense. Final-sale and sample-sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.

To exchange an item, please return the original purchase and place a new order for your desired item to ensure availability. Upon receiving your return, we will issue a full refund less return postage.

For orders within the continental U.S., a return postal charge of $9.95 will be deducted from your refund. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

If we process an order incorrectly or you receive a damaged item, we will gladly replace it or accept it for a full refund at our expense. Items must be unused, unworn, and with tags attached.

Our Sun Gauntlets are designed with generous four way stretch for an all-day comfort fit. Using a tape measure, follow these guidelines to determine your size. If you're not sure of sizing, reach out to us here, we're happy to help!

If you're on the go, hand wash or spot clean -- our apparel dries fast!

To prolong the life of your garment, we recommend you wash your Heliades inside a mesh laundry bag, Machine wash cold, delicate cycle and hang dry.

Avoid bleach and fabric softener to keep your UPF protection strong.

Our apparel is designed and made in the San Francisco/Bay Area, California. We are proudly Made by hand in USA!

All Heliades apparel is tested per international standards: AATCC 183 or AS/NZS 4399, and is certified with an excellent rating of UPF50+. This means our fabrics block over 98% of UVA and UVB rays from reaching your skin.

All our sun protection is permanent! Our UPF is woven into the fabric for the life of the garment with a mineral called Titanium Dioxide—the same mineral used in broad spectrum, physical sunscreen (unlike sunscreen, ours does not wash off). We don't use chemicals, therefore there are no chemical coatings to wear off. Read more here

Yes, double tested and double certified. We use only OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified fabrics, which are tested for skin safety and free from harmful chemicals. Additionally, our UPF 50+ fabrics are tested to AATCC 183 or AS/NZS 4399 standards.

Yes, all Heliades apparel is made with OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified fabric, thread, buttons, logos and trim which means it is rated safe for prolongued contact on skin!

OEKO-TEX is a very cool international standard of testing and certification of over 1000 chemicals and heavy metals.

We prioritize sustainability with small-batch, ethical production in California and our partners are all OEKO-TEX, GRS (Global Recycled Standard) or REACH certified which means they are committed to reducing carbon footprint, water use and energy consumption. UV Sun Gauntlets are Heliades' signature collection of UV Gloves and Sun Sleeves. Our Sun Gauntlets are made of UPF 50+ certified and OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified fabric, and are available in an array of stylish, fun, classic colors and prints.

P.S. The gauntlet is the part of a glove that covers the wrist. It is also a type of armored glove historically worn by warriors. And we women are warriors, so our name...fits...like a glove 💫

Our gloves are fingerless by choice—designed for everyday ease and functionality. They cover most of your fingers (leaving some fingertips and thumbs exposed) so you can text, wash your hands, drive, or shop without taking them off—and potentially losing them.

Tip: In strong sun, Sharone simply tucks her fingers and thumb inside the glove for extra coverage.

Melange refers to a blended fabric made by twisting together multiple fibers of different colors, creating a subtle, heathered texture. It’s a chic, modern look that adds depth to fabrics while maintaining softness and breathability.

Ours is buttery-soft, breathable, and certified UPF 50+—designed to protect your glow in comfort and style.

UPF (Ultraviolet Protection Factor) measures fabric's effectiveness to block UVA and UVB radiation, while SPF (Sun Protection Factor) pertains to sunscreen's ability to protect skin from sunburn. An SPF rating only applies to UVB radiation not UVA.

A UPF 50+ rating means the fabric blocks over 98% of UVA and UVB rays, offering superior protection. Read more here
