Why It's Important To Verify Your Voter Registration Now

If you have a young adult who’s recently come of voting age and hasn’t voted in an election yet, here's how to verify they’re registered to vote.

Why this matters:

Obviously, every vote matters.

We have two new voters in our house and we thought they were registered through the DMV when they got their driver's licenses. They weren't.

And, among 18-29 year olds only 36% voted in 2018. (census.gov)

Let's try to get that number up!

It's pretty easy to follow the steps to verify your registration. At the end of the process you'll receive confirmation - save this.

Don’t wait to verify or register in case you need to allow time to submit documentation such as a driver's license, etc. You don't want to be surprised come November.
