Our Social Responsibility

H E L I A D E S sun protection apparel is hand made in the San Francisco/Bay Area with fabric and trim sourced directly from Italy, the U.K., Asia and U.S. manufacturers with stringent environmental policies. All fabrics are rated and certified UPF 50+ blocking over 98% of UVA and UVB rays. We work towards a lighter PEF (Product Environment Footprint) by partnering with companies who utilize renewable energy sources (sun and wind), recycle water during the manufacturing process, and convert reusable fabric scraps into new material to make new fabric.
